Northeastern Niners
Montreal Shamrocks GAC won the inaugural “Northeastern Niners", an Eastern Canada/Northeast USA Junior 9-a-side Hurling Tournament on Saturday, October 12th 2013 in St.Julie, Quebec.
The aim of this tournament was to bring together hurling teams from across Eastern Canada and Northeastern USA for competitive action to foster the development of the sport in these regions.

Montreal hosted the Ottawa Gaels and the Portland Hurling Club who made the trip from Maine. Ottawa and the hosts battled hard all day but it was the Shamrocks who pulled ahead in the final. The 2014 tournament promises to be a great day out.
