After an unforgettable inaugural tournament in St John’s, Newfoundland in 2014, Halifax, Nova Scotia hosted the 2015 Eastern GAA Championship Finals tournament on Saturday Sep 5th at 9am.
The tournament had the following competitions:
Ladies football tournament, Men's football tournament, Hurling tournament
Teams who travelled and competed; Eire Og Ottawa, Ottawa Gaels, Montreal Shamrocks, Quebec Patriots, Halifax Gaels. A great day was had by all, including a great night of celebrations after.
2015 Eastern Division Championships -Halifax Gaels won the second men’s Eastern Division Gaelic Football Championship Cup. Ottawa Gaels won the first ever ladies Championship. The Halifax Gaels took home the James Ring Sr. Memorial Hurling Cup for the 2nd time. Next year, Quebec City will be the host city.
